The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) and the UPU have agreed to work together on issues of technical cooperation and share more information on regulatory issues.
The new .post Group held its first general assembly this week after the creation of the user-funded entity was cleared by the Postal Operations Council meeting at UPU headquarters.
The UPU’s Postal Operations Council (POC) this week adopted the revised regulations for international letter-post, parcel post and postal payment services.
"The UPU is not an isolated player on the international scene," says Director General Bishar A. Hussein in his interview with the UN News Centre, part of its "Newsmaker" series.
